Invest in Communications and Get Money Back with Metuchen Panasonic Grants
Grant Funds for Public Service
Many public service agencies are familiar with government grants. They are a good way to work communications investments into the budget. Investments in tools like Panasonic Toughbooks and Laptops or Panasonic body-worn cameras improve safety, efficiency, and transparency.Â
But, finding grants can be time-consuming, especially if communities have underfunded grants departments. To make it easier, Wireless Inc. offers a Panasonic Foundation Grants Support Program. Agencies can find vetted and relevant grants and get straight to the application process. West Berlin Public Service agencies can apply for grants on projects to:
- Develop new projects and ideas
- Expand existing initiatives
- Improve safety for personnel or citizens
- Provide training for employees
Public Service employees risk their lives to keep our communities safe, so grants are created with public agencies in mind. These grants fund projects that benefit a clear need. Needs like making sure police officers, paramedics, and firefighters have the tools to do their job, and, most importantly, do it safely.
The Department of Homeland Security, for example, provides funds to fire departments to improve safety equipment, including mobile technology. Technology upgrades include:
- Panasonic body-worn cameras, which allow for more transparency, better evidence gathering, and improved personnel tracking with GPS technology
- In-vehicle cameras, like the Panasonic Arbitrator 360 degree HD camera, for better mobile data collection and communication
- Rugged Toughbooks and laptops, for use in harsh environments
